Perfect practice/vacation guitar.
I did a great deal of research into travel guitars this one has excellent qualities and features at a reasonable price. I was originally looking at the Martin Backpacker but found that it was a bit on the expensive side and did not include the extras that the Washburn Rover came with.
Excellent fit and finish. The machines are of decent quality and work well. The full size fretboard is of good quality. The sound is very good. Anyone thinking that this will take the place of their regular acoustic should note that it is a practice/travel guitar and does not "project" sound as fully as a full sized acoustic. The case is an excellent bonus and works well with the provided backpack straps. I was delighted that it came with a strap picks an extra bridge w/shims a truss rod wrench and a DVD. The DVD is geared toward the novice but includes a neat little program that will allow you to use your computer/laptop as a tuner. When the guitar arrives I would recommend that you: open the case and let it air out for a week or two (strong lacquer smell) and take it to shop that specializes in acoustic instruments and have the action set up (intonation and string height). Also note: The full size neck tends to make the guitar top heavy not a problem when used with a strap. Also you may want to have the shop attach a strap peg on the back of the neck where the neck attaches to the body. All in all...a great instrument for the money.
Cheers!

Complete garbage
I got this guitar for Christmas from my mom. I can't tell her but I can certainly let everyone else know that this guitar is complete and utter garbage. I unpacked the guitar and tuned it. One of the strings popped first thing. Next thing I noticed is that there is fret buzz on about four different frets along the neck. I also noticed the neck is drastically twisted towards the head. It sounds terrible no matter what you do to it. I strongly recommend spending about $30-50 and getting something a little better (no offense to my mom).

Get what you pay for
This guitar is everything I expected for the price. At 92 dollars to my door I was expecting a cheap acoustic guitar that would feel more like my electric guitars and thats what I got.
First the guitar is everything it claims to be its functional without defects in useablity however the manufacturer appears to have skimped on workmanship as it doesn't look carefully made or painted but this does not affect playability.
When playing I had to adjust to the feel of the neck I'm accustomed to the smooth necks on fender strats and p-basses this one has a little more friction but it was easily overcome. When playing notes it requires a little more pressure and accuracy than most electrics to avoid buzzing but that is again something pretty easy to get used to.
The electronics operate just fine nothing to wow me but effective and clean. It could really use a switch to save battery life though.
Overall this is a good guitar for someone that is learning or wants an acoustic electric as long as they're expecting low cost and mediocre quality.
